i went out around lunch time and in total i rode nearly 1:50 hours. I covered a grand total of 38.5km (32.5 and 6). Now 3103km down although that seems slightly meaningless at the moment. it was glorious out on the bike paths. I went into the city from home and then up the freeway to mt henry and then back to the city, before heading off to UWA and Subi (brew ha) for a light lunch and then home.
there were a couple of riders out but basically i had the paths to myself. the river was spectacular (a little reddish in colour due to all the run off resulting from the stormy weather we had through july) but still great.
I had a ride around UWA - my alma mater - and took a couple of photos of the site where i got married (it is unchanged - cant say that for the marriage though). I know why i loved that place. architecturally it is stunning and there are lots of young and stunning people (who are generally smart to boot). i intend to post these photos on one of my other blogs - life of jeff - as they are part of that story.
